Tuner Evolution Daytona Beach
Tuner Evo 2016 started out interesting with the clutch in my friends Miata failing as we entered the parking lot (check out his car here). We got there an hour early and had a chance to look around the floor before everyone came in. On the floor immediately outside I had the chance to see Kevin Nicholson's (_k1ll1onaire_) jaw dropping FRS. I nearly died after following him on Instagram for so long and finally seeing his car in person.
As soon as you walked into the showroom and went to the right you were greeted by an absolutely incredible Volkswagen Corrado with a custom leather interior and a leather padded engine. There are no other words to describe this car other than absolutely jaw dropping.
While my buddy was drooling over @phoshizzl3 S14 I was standing in awe looking @_suareez clean widebody S14. Both of these cars were some of the most beautiful S14's I saw at the event and they look mean as hell in person.
When walking through the show floor you could notice some cars with interesting color choices but the new most popular color I noticed at the show was orange, a color I haven't seen on many cars in recent years. @_candyata came to the show with a fresh coat and you could definitely tell because the paint on the car was dazzling when the light hit it.
While at the show I was able to meet Natalie Roush (@natalieroush) and she was one of the coolest people I got a chance to meet. Not only that but her Volkswagen was sexy as all hell and had a set of wheels that breaks necks wherever it goes. I had seen it driving around but I finally had a chance to see it up close and it looks even better then.
The wheel game was on point at Tuner Evo, everything ranging from Volks to Luxury Abstract wheels.
I came into the show not expecting to relate to anybody's car to my own but when I stumbled across this HHR owned by Robert Shumate (@robssturbo) and I asked him about the motor, which happens to be the same one in my car, I felt happy to find someone to talk to about Ecotec motors. His car is an absolute monster pushing somewhere in the 500 hp range. It was an absolute pleasure to meet him and to be able to speak with him.
The VIP's came out strong with SUV's Van's and Sedan's alike, each time I saw one it made me want a VIP car of my own. The style is so attractive and to be able to ride in a luxurious comfortable interior is so appealing.
